We welcome you to Tango-Triora, a series of tango holiday weekends unlike
the others ... not least because, if you are a club or dance organiser, we
pay you to send us your students, your dancers; your friends in tango, to
study and dance tango at our intensive 5-day summer weekends, in Italy. If
you are not an organiser, see below for an alternative offer of free holidays.
Our 5-day tango holidays compare favourably with other, pricey
British-based and continental holidays (and remember we give clubs and
milonga organisers something back: £50GBP per couple!) Everyone has costs
to pay, even not-for-profit organisations must hire dance halls, pay
insurance, purchase or hire musical equipment, the music to play on it and
the rights to broadcast it. Then there is the cost of your next summer or
winter ball, the live band, etc. We can help you with these bills. Send us,
for example, 10 couples and we will pay you £500GBP, to put towards your
next tango ball, or whatever you prefer.
The bed, breakfast and evening meal 5-day weekends start from as little as
£72GBP per person, per day (for couples, sharing a room). This price
includes five nights dancing: milongas until the early hours; five days of
workshops and guided prácticas (20 hours in all, with extra seminars and
private lessons available too); and five nights hotel accommodation, with
two meals a day, in a fantastic mountain location, only 40 minutes from the
sea!
It is a fact that other tango holidays in Italy and France also cost more
for less. There is no sleeping in tents here! Single rooms and privacy does
not come at a punitive cost of hundreds more. We charge less than other
tango holiday weekends but we offer more, (including the £50GBP gifts
mentioned above and free holidays ... see below) and it is all set to
happen in a stunning hotel, once a medieval convent, in one of the 100 most
beautiful villages in Italy!
Our teachers will teach all classes in English. They are the finest
teachers in north-west Italy. Dario Moffa & Monica Bozzano have many years
of experience of performing and teaching across Italy & France, dancing
side-by-side in Europe and Argentina with Naveira, Salas, Torelli, Arce,
Frumboli and the best of the rest!
