Gato & Andrea will provide a spectacular performance on Friday, February 29, 2008 at milonga Nuestro Tango at the Latvian Community Center (4146 N Elston Ave @ Hamlin) with a pre-milonga class for ALL levels of dancers at a special price of $15 (separate from milonga $15 entry) for intro with Gato & Andrea; “Alternative Camidas: various possibilities for walking - pausing, musicality, half turns, navigation, changing embrace, etc.” Class: 7:45 p – 9:00 p; Milonga 9:00 p – 1:00 +a featuring light buffet and special Leap Night activities; BYOB. Intermediate & Advanced Tango Workshops with Gato Valdez & Andrea Monti on Sat., March 1 and Sun., March 2, 2008. Followed by the Sunday Opposites Attract practica from 6:00 – 8:00 p; note the special time – practica will be guided by Gato & Andrea and free to anyone who takes 3 or more workshops and the regular price ($10 at the door, $8 with reservation) to all others.
