Tango is THE place to be in Chicago on Friday, Jan. 25th with a one night
special offer on the package of next month's workshops & class with Hugo 'Gato'

milonga Nuestro Tango, Inc. is danced the LAST Friday of EVERY month at The
Latvian Community Center (4146 N. Elston Ave., Chicago) from 9:00 p to 1:00+ a.
The hostesses - Valentina Cisar, Carmen Pinto &/or Phoebe J. Grant - provide a
light buffet but BYOB; the cover for the milonga is $15.
Somer Surgit will be the guest DJ on Jan. 25th. There will NOT be a 'free'
fundamentals class prior to the milonga this month.
Next month, milonga Nuestro Tango will celebrate Leap Night on Feb. 29 ...
And, visiting instructors Hugo 'Gato' Valdez & Andrea Monti will teach a
pre-milonga class and showcase during the milonga. The pre-milonga class, for
ALL levels of dancers at a special price of $15 (separate from milonga $15
entry), will introduce or re-aquaint Gato & Andrea , who were here 2 years ago,
to Chicago dancers. “Alternative Camidas: various possibilities for walking –
pausing, musicality, half turns, navigation, changing embrace, etc.” will be
taught from 7:45 p – 9:00 p; milonga Nuestro Tango will be danced from 9:00 p –
1:00+ a. There will not be a free fundamentals class on Feb. 29.
Gato & Andrea are masters of the extremes of Argentine tango – they
exemplify traditional salon dancing in their teaching yet perform with drama!!!
This handsome couple exudes virility and sophistication (you won’t believe
Andrea’s legs!!!). In addition to Feb. 29th's pre-milonga class & , Gato &
Andrea will teach 6 workshops on Saturday & Sunday afternoons and participate
in an extraordinary exhibition on Saturday night with Melina Brufman & Claudio
