This year's course is suitable for dancers who have acquired basic Argentine tango technique and are ready to explore methods of improving connection and musicality in the three musical genres of this beautiful dance: tango, vals and milonga. Steve is a life-long musician who teaches tango as a way of feeling and understanding the music. He uses his in-depth knowledge as a musican and tango dancer to teach in a fun and engaging way to help dancers interact creatively with the music. Partnered by his wife, Debbie, the couple do not teach choreography as it generates repetition and blocks appreciation of the music. They liberate their students by teaching the ethos of dancing "only the next step". La Rogaia is 90 minutes drive north from Rome airport and, subject to co-ordinating flight times, it may be possible for you to share a minibus or car hire with us for a hassle-free journey and sightseeing trips.
