The Human Rights Project at the Urban Justice Center is looking for male dance partners to train with, and participate in an amateur Tango dance exhibition/friendly competition on Wednesday, September 16th at the OK HARRIS Works of Art Gallery in SoHo. The male dance partners will be guiding our volunteers who will be training for the competition. We will be providing free weekly classes starting on July 12th. The competition is part of a fundraiser that will feature an evening of Tango starting with the amateur Tango competition, and ending with a Tango performance by the 2008 United States Argentine Tango Stage Champions, Lexa Rosean and Gayle Madeira. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the work of the Human Rights Project at the Urban Justice Center.
