QuinTango and dancers Carina Losano and Anton Gazenbeek perform
three shows next week in the Richmond area and in Harrisonburg
VA. This is a great opportunity to combine tango and Virginia's
spectacular fall foliage.
Friday, October 16, 10 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Cultural Arts Center at
Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. QuinTango and
dancers perform two concerts. "The Story of Tango" at 10 am is a
45-minute concert designed for students and seniors. The 7 p.m.
show, "Tango's Women: Inspiration, Obsession, and Muse," is
divided between traditional tango and the music of Astor
Piazzolla. The evening concert will be followed by a beginners'
dance lesson with Carina & Anton. Experienced dancers attending the
concert are also invited to join the post-concert dancing on
