with plenty of parking.

Open Registration for Argentine Tango workshops will take place on
March 6, 2010 at the Grand Reopening of Viva Ballroom.
Tango Fundamentals: This workshop is for people who are new to Tango
or those who want to brush-up on their basics.
We will rotate the ladies from man to man so everyone gets the
opportunity to dance with a partner, and that works best because no
two people dance the same.
This workshop will be taught in a circle, rotation in a counter-clock
wise direction, utilizing the outer perimeter of the dance floor. This
will also help the student learn navigation and floor-craft.
Time: 5:30-7:00PM
This class will present dancing the Argentine Tango in close embrace
style of the Milonguero/a. Weight Changes, The Art of the Tango walk,
Finding your Axis, and how to move within the cadence of the music.
Understanding the direction of the dance. The key concept of this
workshop is to move with liquid motion from spot to spot with the
utmost elegance and without bumping into other people or blocking the
line of dance, on the dance floor.
