2010 is the year of the 10th International Tangofestival Berlin. Come and
dance, enjoy, and celebrate with us on this great occasion in the city that
hosts one of the biggest tango communities of the world.
The attractive prices for packages and single events are available unil 18 May

- dance partner: there are quite a lot of leaders and followers looking for you
- Alexander technique with Irmel Weber for warming up before the workshops
- buses and railways at night: for the opening milonga the Metrobus M41 does
have an extra stop every 30 minutes. With M41 you'll get without any change
directly to Hermannplatz; the location of Ballhaus Rixdorf and the hotels. At
all other locations buses and railways run all night.
The 10th International Tangofestival Berlin will take place from Thursday 20
May to Monday 24 May 2010. We offer to you 5 tango balls with live music and
dance performances, after-hour milongas, afternoon milongas, 50 workshops, 8
dance couples, 6 orchestras, 11 DJs, readings and special movies on tango
history, and cheap places to stay overnight at the Ballhaus Rixdorf.
The central location of the festival is the Ballhaus Rixdorf, where all the
workshops, afternoon and some after-hour milongas and the Monday milonga take
place. In the evenings we will turn several spectacular locations of very
different character into wonderful places to dance and enjoy the music of great
orchestras and DJs.
We are happy to announce that the 10th International Tangofestival Berlin
corresponds with the festivities of the “Bicentenario de la República
Argentina” – 200 years of Argentinean Independence and takes takes place within
the scope of the city-partnership Berlin - Buenos Aires under the auspices of
the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit.
