Documentary film SURRENDER TANGO airs on Ch 25 WNYE Monday July 12 at 9 pm!
Shot entirely in New York City at South Street Seaport and Central Park,Marcia Rock's Surrender Tango explores the tango connection through interviews with social dancers, dance teachers and performers. The film culminates with an electric performance of Escualo by Mariela Franganillo and Jorge Torres. This thirty-minute documentary goes beyond showcasing tango as a dance form, focuses on how partner-based dancing teaches its dancers about trust and relationships as well.
