Come take part in New York's only tango performance company. Comprised of highly skilled dancers and headed by choreographer Anton Gazenbeek this company performs in major events all around the city including the Anthropology of Tango Dance Show, A Taste of Tango, Annual Dance Parade, Cheap & Chic New Year's Eve party, New York Tango Festival, the recent Queer Tango Festival, Dances of Vice events, Hispanic forum for AIDS, the famous Black Party and others.
Come learn fun and exciting high level choreographies to perform. Every two months a new choreography is worked. An open audition for the company will be held Tuesday, October 26 at 7 pm sharp at Chelsea Studios, 151 W 26th St 6th floor. Cost is $25. Dancers from all dance forms are welcome and a partner is not necessary for the audition. No tango experience is required. Great for salsa dancers, ballet, modern, jazz and swing dancers.
