You could be the next American Argentine Tango Champion, and win a round trip to Buenos Aires and a free stay to represent the USA at the Semifinal Round at the “Tango Buenos Aires Festival y Mundial de Baile 2011” in August 2011. Competitors can participicate in the "Salon Tango" category, which aims to enrich the dance as a typical porteño practice, and/or the "Stage Tango" category, which aims to enrich the dance from a choreographic point of view related to the performance as a show. In the Salon Tango Category, couples will compete in groups, dancing three pieces previously selected by the Committee. In the Stage Tango Category, each couple will compete individually, dancing to a choreographed song of their choice.
