No. It would not at all. You are making a very wrong assumption here. That the so called "milonguero style" is the only form of social tango versus "show". It is not. Both nuevo and salon are forms of social Tango involving all those elements that you think of as "show". Whether the use of those elements is appropiate in reference to floor traffic conditions or the person dancing with you, that is another issue, a matter of judgement, not "style".
