One has to accept this in order to have a chance of understanding the functions and dysfunctions of the tango teaching world. And for those who've chosen that route to learning, to have any chance of overcoming its obstacles. Every beginner finds the question: why am I getting stuck being taught stuff that I never even see on the dance floor? Every continuer finds the answer: it's just business - steer around it, leave it behind, and stay on course. > If somebody has nothing to sell, he's not going to last very long in any > business, including Tango.
