I have recently installed a new wood floor in my living room. I then called a professional to sand it and finish it, specifying that I would be using it for dancing and that I wanted a very hard street finish. I got instead a very beautiful gloss finish that needless to say is not hard enough and unsuitable as a dance floor. The guy admitted that he made a mistake and is going to sand and finish it again. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on the latest finishes for dance floors.
I know this has been discusses before, but it has been a while, and new and better products may have come on the market.
