Interesting thoughts on pausing, Ron and others. Are we using "pause" to refer to those times when each partner stays on one leg rather than changing weight with the music?
I have experienced times when the dance floor is so crowded that the couples cannot progress, and you just have to dance on your spot for a while, and then move forward a small amount to dance on another spot. This is not "pausing," right?
