When discussing how young people could dance or not tango , there are events that make myself to change my mind.
One of this events, a privilege to live in Buenos Aires, was shown on Parque Centenario new open air theatre. An spectacle of "Tango aereo / Aerial tango" , was shown, free entrance, no tickets required , just to go inside and sit and watch. The orchestra has been arrranged for the event, they are also youn , a piano, one bandoneon, one counterbass, one violin, one electric guitar, and a person playing in turns drums and a xylophon. They play "A fuego lento", "Acquaforte" , "Taquito militar" and some tangos that could be described as "nuevo" . The dancers are from a ballet , that is here in Buenos Aires, at Almagro neighbourhhod. They combine techniques like the group La guarda, with wires , and also bungies attached to their shoulders, to dance tango, with a coreography of tango but also with the possibilites that brings to have attached the cable to your back ( i wish i have one of this to dance at salon canning with 20 kilos less of weight....) Although, as astronauts know, to have 20 kilos less temporarily, does not mean to have the same reduction of mass, the momentum is the same , and it is needed a good practice, to have possibilities to dance a tango and not crasj into the stage. There were combinations of dancing partners, both with wire and/or bungie , or the man with wire and the woman on stage, or viceversa.
