We used to have a very, very, very good milonga band in Brussels, with Alfredo Marcucci playing the bandoneon and making the musicians very aware of what exactly made a milonga band tick. But even when he wasn't around and Eva Wolff was playing the band was excellent, and the symbiosis between dancers and bands impressive. They key?
