I think everyone can accept that change and evolution are inevitable.

But what worries me is that, with Tango, those changes might now 
be developing outside of Argentina and, in our shrinking world, those 
changes might then be transferred to Argentina. 

If that happens, surely the cultural significance of Tango will be lost 
and it will become 'just another dance'. 

IMO, the music, dance and culture of the Tango lives, breathes and 
survives in the traditional milongas of Buenos Aires and I think that 
this is what the UNESCO declaration is trying to preserve, safeguard 
and be allowed to develop and evolve, without interference from outside 
forces.

But I just know whether it's possible.
