You are so wrong....HB....I have observed milongueros making these arrangements with their Portena lady friends so as to make sure the night does not slip away without two good friends getting to dance with one another...who says it is breaking the code...they go back to their seats, he cabaceos her who is waiting for him to do so because they pre arranged it, she returns the nod, boom, they get up and walk to the dance floor and dance..no code-breaking...just a little streamlining...there are so many subtle things going on in any milonga, you just aren't sensitive to all of them....but if you look, you will see. sherrie
