Would there be anything that would keep the World Tango people from just 
inviting in the Metropolitan winnners to compete, anyway?  Seems like they 
could rewrite the rules.  Anything less wouldn't really be a win for any couple 
who won.  I would hope that tango enthusiasts would see that and still let the 
BsAs winners compete.

Sorry, I do not know this information, a local judge declare the edition of the 
metropolitan tango championship 2011, invalid, due to segregation of foreign 
visitors.

p.s. justice in Argentina is not cristal clear, now there is an investigation 
on one of the judges of the supreme court, Eugenio Zaffaroni, since he owns 20 
apartments, for rent, and on 5 of this apartment, it was founded there was 
prostitution offered, with pimps running several pupils for this work
