I think comments like this are what killed the Tango-L list. It's like going to the Metropolitan Museum in NYC to see the paintings and then announcing to the art lovers there that Picasso and Monet are not true art because they modify the traditional rules of art, and only Rembrandt is authentic art according to how you see it.
You're going to get a lot of disagreement and some people will want to argue with you and others will want to tune you out. But after a while even the people who would argue with you will tune you out and stop contributing to discussions on the list or even reading it because it consumes too much personal bandwidth filtering out noise from trolls. Even though I personally dance more traditional than Gustavo and Chicho, I can tell by watching their videos that they have unparalleled musicality and technique and they should be studied for their skills and how I could use that to improve my own dancing.
