1. CLASSES: Monday: (7-8pm) (1/9-1/30) Demystifying Milonga Glenn Corteza Back because of popular demand, Glenn Corteza will once again teach his milonga class. Please come join us for this four week class series. Glenn teaches the rhythms of milonga, and offers simple steps to show how to play with milonga. Wednesday: Larry Azlin: Beginning Tango 7-8pm Larry just returned from a month long trip to Buenos Aires so and has much to offer to beginning tango dancers. Thursday: Progressive Month-long Class by Roberto Riobo. Topic: Sacadas (Displacements) and Gaunchos 1/13 Sacadas 1/20 Sacadas 1/27 Gaunchos 2/2 Gaunchos In this month-long progressive series, Roberto will teach sacadas, and gaunchos, This series will break down the technique of sacadas and gaunchos. The class will use exercises and choreography to improve the technique for these displacements. While the classes are drop-in, it is recommended to take the whole series as the gaunchos are based on the same technique as sacadas, except with different resolutions. Saturday: 2:00pm-Intermediate/Advanced Class with Roberto 4pm: Beginning class with Peter and Jerry Sue. Both classes and all day practica for $15 2.
