Creating your own tango - The use of improvisation
One of Tangos basic fundamentals is that there is no choreography
or pre-established movements to be done. Starting from this concept,
the workshop will focus in understanding the structures of movements
to allow the dancers to create their own sequences within the limits of
the space, the music and the characteristics of each partner.
5:00 - 6:30 p.m. - Workshop for advanced intermediates upwards
Volcadas for Tango Salón
Volcadas are amongst the most popular movements in Tango, but
usually, its very hard to do them in the context of a milonga because
of lack of space. The class will focus in developing volcadas in a very
small piece of the dance floor as well as in the exploration of possible
variations to this movements to adapt it to the music.
$25 for one workshop, $45 for both workshops.
