BIO:
GRACIELA GONZALEZ is recognized throughout the world, and especially among the
most traditional milongueros in Buenos Aires, for her ability to integrate new
teaching ideas while preserving the elegance of salon style tango.

Graciela started dancing in 1988, her teachers, the giants of Argentine tango,
were Pupi Castello, Pepito Avellaneda, Antonio Todaro, Gustavo Naveira, Tete,
Lampazo, Eduardo Pareja, Nito and Elba, and many others. Among her students we
can name Mora Godoy, Lorena Ermocida, Corina de La Rosa, Florencia Taccetti,
Fernanda Ghi, Marcela Duran, Karina Romero, Luciana Valle, Nancy Lousan, and
many others.

Her teaching method is innovative, the fruit of her years of work studying body
language, and also what she experienced dancing with milongueros, synthesized
to achieve an objective; to enable the student to use experience and body
memory to achieve a natural posture, and later, a technically correct posture.
In this way, the student can determine his/her own style.

Blas Rivera is a renowned composer, pianist, and sax player. Originally from
Argentina but with strong roots in Brazil, he has created a new and original
music that bridges the worlds of tango and jazz. He has been teaching
musicality for choreographers and dancers, helping them develop a deep
comprehension of the universality of music, which goes beyond cultural borders.

He received the outstanding artist award at the 1998 Montreuv Jazz Festival and
has toured throughout Europe and Latin America. He has recorded cd's with
pianist Pablo Ziegler and violinist Fernaro Suraez Paz, both former members of
the Astor Piazzola Quintet.
