Komputerku (RH 7.0) baru saja mati mendadak, gara-gara
ups nya dicabut, akibatnya sekarang gak bisa booting,
akhirnya saya nginstall OS baru (RH 7.2) dan HD yang
crash tsb dijadikan slave, kedetect sebagai "sdb",
namun pada saat di mounting " mount -t ext2(3)
/dev/sdb/ /direktoriku mount: special device /dev/sdb/
does not exist
(a path prefix is not a directory).
kemudian saya coba jalankan fsck /dev/sdb , hasilnya

The superblock could not be read or does not describe
a correct ext2
filesystem. If the device is valid and it really
contains an ext2
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else),
then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an
alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
