menurut yg aku tau:
1. buat global account di samba pake user root
$ smbpasswd -a root
2. buat machine account, nama komputer yg mau join
$ useradd -g 100 -d /dev/null -c "machine nickname" -s /bin/false
machine_name$
$ smbpasswd -a -m machine_name
trs coba join di win2000>mycomputer>network indentification>>propertis pake
user root
moga membantu !!!

gimana cara nya user windows 2000 untuk menjadi member domain pada samba,
saya udah config smb.conf menjadi PDC dan sudah masukan smbpasswd -a
user... dan untuk browse nya sudah berhasil, tapi untuk memjadi member
domain domain nya selalu gagal

apa yang harus saya rubah di smb.conf nya...
