Oh, I see... Well may be you can use another distro (linux has a lot distro, right? :-)) I think, I had had same problem like you. Linux was run slowly in pentium 2 with 128MB RAM. The solutions are: I have to compiled packages & kernel according to machine I had. Or, Install the computer with optimized distro.
