sy pake acer travelmate 4603, pas install lsg
kedetek dg bae, tanpa
configure apa2. cuma kalo lg jalanin GoogleEarth,
katanya sy menggunakan
simulation, slownya minta ampun.... :P padahal uda
install driver
terbaru dari ATI!
dulu pake suse 10.0, install drivernya agak susah,
tapi GoogleEarthnya
keren ....
ada yg punya pengalaman yg bisa di-share???
sampai skrg nih masih slow banget.... apa karena
versi 4 beta GE-nya???

setelah saya liat readme ya. ada komentar dibawah
ini:
*If a Linux 2.6.11 or newer kernel was built with
CONFIG_AGP enabled,
the kernel AGP frontend is required to load the
fglrx kernel module. To
identify whether your kernel was built with
CONFIG_AGP enabled, look for
CONFIG_AGP=y in the kernel config file, or if the
'agpgart' module loaded.*
dan:
*In order to use the fglrx internal AGP support,
you have to make sure
that the kernel agpgart support is not active,
i.e. it is not compiled
into the kernel and the kernel modules are not
loaded. If the fglrx
kernel module detects that the kernel agpgart
support is active, it will
automatically use that even if its internal AGP
support is requested in
order to avoid conflicts that can cause problems
under some circumstanc*es.
-Dimana, CONFIG_AGP=m tertulis pada konfigurasi
kernel saya. jadi apa
saya mesti merubahnya seperti CONFIG_AGP=y
diatas, dan gmn caranya?
-Lalu module agpgart punya saya aktif, seperti
pada pernyataan 2, bahwa
saya harus mematikan module tersebut, setelah saya
ketikkan:
*ikh-linx:/home/ikhfan # modprobe -r agpgart
FATAL: Module agpgart is in use.
ikh-linx:/home/ikhfan # lsmod
