saya pake centos release 4.1(final) untuk webserver dan database postgresql
untuk keperluan aplikasi khusus.
waktu lalu karena human error system melakukan restore system ke configurasi
awal, namun di stop di tengah jalan sehingga sekarang server tersebut kacau.
sempat di perbaiki oleh si pembuat program dan aplikasi tersebut bisa
running dengan baik (httpd, postgresql, crond dan qmail). namun
permasalahannya adalah selain service-sercive tersebut harus saya run secara
manual setiap kali startup. saya sudah check ke chkconfig, semua
service-service tersebut sudah di set on pada 2345, saya juga sudah mencoba
untuk menambahkan baris perintah di /etc/rc.d/rc.local (ex:
/etc/init.d/httpd/restart) tapi tetap saja tidak ada pengaruhnya alias
service-service penting tersebut tidak bisa run secara langsung saat
startup.
saat saya check ke /etc/inittab isi adalah initdefaultnya =7 ??? (terlampir
di bawah)
mohon pencerahan, gimana cara untuk membuat service-service tersebut bisa up
saat boot.
karena saya sudah mencoba menambahkan level 7 on pada httpd tapi system
menolaknya

Kalau memang default boot-nya [ada] ke runlevel 7 [mungkin ini bawaan
e-smith server], untuk aplikasi yang mau distart ketika boot, [selain
diset ke 3 atau 5], ya di-set juga ke 6 dan atau 7. [e.g. chkconfig
--level 3567 httpd on].
