Fix Version: 4.0
Resolution: Fixed
Assign To: Paul Ferraro (was: Tapestry Developer List)
As of 4.0, both PropertySelection and DatePicker have a validators parameter
that allows the component to be validated.
Additionally, DatePicker has a translator parameter that defines how the text
should be translated into an object.
> Consistency: provide valid versions of PropertySelection and DatePicker

> For PropertySelection, it may not need an validator, but just a "required"
> parameter, that when set to true will force the user to choose an option that
> has a non-empty value. This is to support case (2) described in #29228
> For DatePicker, the user may want to write a validator that verifiy that the
> date is in a certain range, or is not a holiday, or something like that.
