I think what I've added so far is probably already more than enough to satisfy a very basic validation documentation need.
I too don't feel that web-site documentation page changes should correspond to software releases, at least not completely. Hopefully we should be able to update the forrested site docs as much as we like. And, since we're committers there's no need to bar releases on things that we very likely should/can do ourselves ;) If my server permissions allow and I find enough free time on my hands I may investigate doing a documentation update on the site myself.
