Try changing the extension to .properties, not .property.

"only that it ends with .property"

Subject: Can not get @Message to work with a Tapestry component

I am trying to pull values from my resource bundle for a Tapestry
component I am working on and I tried variations of @Message

@Message
public abstract String getButtonAdd()

@Message("button-add")
public abstract String getButtonAdd();

I even tried using getMessages().getMessage("button-add");

In my .jwc file I have
<component id="add" type="Submit">
        <binding name="label" value="buttonAdd"/>
</component>

In my .properties file I have
button-add=Add Code

On each case the returned value is [BUTTON-ADD]

My .properties file is in the same folder as my .html and .jwc and has
the same name as the .jwc and .html only that it ends with .property. I
am using Tapestry 4.1.

I do not know what I might be doing wrong; I have no problem pulling
values from the property file for Tapestry pages; just that this is a
tapestry component; I do not know what might have changed or how to go
about this. I know that getMessage() was removed on T4.1 for components;
how do I solve this riddle?

Any assistance will be appreciated.
