Nick -

Thanks for commenting. It does lack body as it is, but I decided to
follow the "release (for opinion) early, release often" mantra - not
only to gauge interest but to let people know what I was doing so they
could chime in if they were looking at it as well.
I do believe that as I get more filled in that it will actually seem
'fuller' than the current site without a "scroll-wheel needed" site
[this comment is for pages like
http://jakarta.apache.org/tapestry/tapestry/index.html after expanding a
few of the other menu headers] only to have the whole page view thrown
off when the nav re-collapses.
On the flip-side, my intent is also to put pages/sections up that we
know we want [the subprojects for example] and make it clear at a glance
what documentation we're missing. (along the same lines as "we have a
lot - just look at the nav" only to see pages consisting of one line)

The layout of the Geronimo site is nice, except for those awkward "User list", "Dev list", "Wiki", "Issue Tracker", "Graphics by Epiq" links on the top right.
It's good to see the Tapestry won't have them like that, IMO.
