Although I would like Tapestry to be bundled with JBoss,
I don't want to introduce anything into Tapestry that
would require JBoss.  I want it to stay server-agnostic;
some day I hope to see Tapestry bundled with WebSphere,
JRun, WebLogic, etc., etc.

Additions to Tapestry to allow monitoring via MBeans
would be nice (though the Inspector provides a lot of
similar functionality). MBeans would also allow some
functions (such as resetting Tapestry cache) to be
performed even if the Inspector isn't enabled.

In addition, there's the tricky relationship between
Tapestry, the servlet container containing it, and
private assets. Currently, Tapestry uses JVM system
properties for this configuration, but MBeans would be a
better approach.

There are unrealized hooks in Tapestry to support live
application monitoring (for performance analysis) ...
again, MBeans would be a way to expose this information.
