Great idea!

I've been thinking (finally) about that while developing my current
project based on Tapestry.

I think there's two main areas where documentation is needed:

1. Tapestry internals. I think that more documentation would be very
useful in various areas. This is very related to:

2. Some kind of cookbook or collection of short howtos where you can
get guidance to get you started when you need to implement something
not included in the distribution. Say components of various kinds,
services, and as seen in this mailing list when you need to hook up
some code to override default behaviour and don't know what you need
to override or (often) you do it in the wrong (or not best) place.

and,

3. Not precisely documentation, but we should be organizing some kind
of component, services, beans, etc. repository with some good
infraestructure for collaboration on developing and perfecting what's
submitted to the repository.

Another issue apparently overseen is i18n of documentation. If there's
intereset in a spanish translation of the documentation I offer myself
to do the job, since that's my natural language.

Anybody thinks that could be useful?
