That's what I thought.. another strange thing is I wonder why sometimes
I get an ugly "stale session page" and other times I get my proper
tapestry invalid session page..

It seems the stale session page occurs after the appropriate 30 mins..
whereas the invalid session could happen whenever...

Anyway.. So it seems this is specific to my app.. I'll track it down..
