I just set up a small test. My HTML file only contains : <html> <body> <a href="http://www.yahoo.com/az?a=3&b=2";>test</a> </body> </html> And, with both my old Firefox 1.0.3 (on windows) and IE 6, the result is what I expected. > (Eriks workaround solved the problem before I got to that). Erik's workaround completely eliminates the problem! You can use it safely. But the underlying issue still remains.
