This sounds like a good idea, but please please for the love of all that is holy and good in the universe. Make certain that someone is the zar of documentation.
So much stuff is put out there without good solid how to. Its an epidemic among open source projects that more interest and energy is put into constructing a project than actually taking the time to explain how to use it.
