There is a link on the Tapestry home page to the old documentation. Check out the status section at http://jakarta.apache.org/tapestry/ #Status now I
would agree that it is not a big link, but it is a link.

Fair enough, but it is in a non-intuitive section and it's a non- descriptive link. Reading down, there's a section titled "Tapestry 4.0" and a section titled "Upgrading from Tapestry 3.0", so I would naturally look for a section titled "Tapestry 3.0", but there of course is not one. The big red warning box in the "Status" section doesn't help matters, since it'll catch the user's attention immediately and make it look as though that section is only about 4.0. Now, we can debate whether or not the user should read the whole page, but the requested information certainly could be made easier to find.
