raw servlets are simpler than tapestry because there are no black boxes to
worry about.
Todays software world is about black boxes (ala component architectures,
frameworks), you can ignore them only if you want to reinvent the wheel
or/and you have endless money and time.
Black box = you don't need to know how it works or worry about it! You
should know only its interface to be able to use it! (Not counting bugs :))
.NET is way simpler
In my opinion Tapestry is simple for simple things, and not too complex for
complex things!
But you should use the framework which you find easier to learn and use!
