I started looking at Trails and JAG because we spend so much time on CRUD pages. I think Trails ideas are good but it needs work on many areas (building J2EE applications is not easy anyway). For example, generating code for validations, security, and menus just to mention few things.
We have worked with Tapestry and Hibernate for more than one year now and we are going to start an internal project to build this infrastructure. We hope to contribute to Trails in the near future.
