Hey guys,
i really stuck with a strange problem. I ve my Tapestry app running on my
box. When I depoly the same war on my friends box i m getting a casting
error on the line:
Visit v = (Visit)getVisit();
I ve double checked the .application file, the visit is defined and the
visit class exists
I simply added this line before i instantiate the visit object:
System.out.print("Visit class= "+getVisit().getClass());
When the war is deployed on my box the stdout is:
15:19:05,484 INFO [STDOUT] Visit class= class net.reg.tapestry.visit
and when on my friends box its:
15:19:05,484 INFO [STDOUT] Visit class= class java.util.HashMap
now obvisouly it cant find the visit class on my friends box... would some1
know what else to check? i ve been try to solve this for the entire day 2day

both of us run win xp pro and jboss4.0.1 containers...using tapestry 3.0.3
and hibernate3
