Good article - thanks for the info. As for us, our priorities are similarly aligned - weighting on the criteria definitely favors productivity over performance. However, it's still gotta get the job done :) As long as I know that we can scale reasonably when the time comes (it's a public site with demand spikes, not an internal IT project) and make it through the first couple years, I'll feel more comfortable. I *hate* surprises (unless they're nice ones administered on my B-day :)
