Hi, I also have some big performance issues with my application based on Tapestry 3.0.3.
1st one, when there is a high load, one can see that the dns time is blowing up. Does de 3.0.3 version have the problem as describe below? From which version does it no longer occur? 2nd one, the application is creating too much object and it seems that the old memory is not cleaned up fast enough. Does persistence trigger the creation of a lot of objects? Is there any related performance issue? Is Tapestry 4.0 doing better? Here is my configuration: 5 server Tomcat 5.5 with jvm of 1.6Gb, xeon 19,2 GHZ, 1.7Millon hits, 55 req/s Applications based on Tapestry and hibernate. I attached samples of the page and components used in the application. Thanks for any help in advance, Yves -----Message d'origine----- De : Howard Lewis Ship [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Envoyé : samedi 10 septembre 2005 00:02 À : Tapestry users; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Objet : Re: Performance problem : simple tapestry page takes long time to show up Earlier Tapestry (maybe 3.x, certainly 2.x) did trigger a reverse DNS by logging the client's hostname. That no longer occurs (or at least, it should not).
