I forgot to add that the difficulty that I am facing in displaying
thumbnails is because I don't have a thumbnail entry in the database... but
the metadata. The other column values I am getting from the database .

I will give you the scenario where I wanted the solutions.
In our application I store the path of the file and other MetaData about the
file in database. Well I am able to retrieve all the metadata.
But the thing is that I need to render the images from the path specified in
the database table from the local machine and display the thumbnails in the
respective column.
