DynamicBlock is dangerous; from looking over the code, it appears that it will not work properly in a cluster, or with multiple users hitting the same page (with different configs for the block).
Tapestry is built around the concept that the page structure is uniform across all users and all machines within a cluster, but that rendering of that structure can be highly dynamic.
