Hi Varun, Well to answer your prime question why does one need to use other frameworks like Spring etc... to be plugged in the Tapestry. Well In our application we are using Springs framework at the database layer as the model in MVC and Tapestry for the View and Controller. With the help of Spring we configure the services as bean and in turn we use that beans in the controller to connect with the DB layer and get the things done. Well, all the beans are configured in SpringApplicationContext.html
And to answer the same question in Technical terms with Springs we can achieve AOP (Aspirant Oriented Programming) according to your requirements You can develop your own services and use it in your application and use it as the Metadata wherever required. If you need further clarification just check the Springs Framework and in Tapestry it is widely useful. I don't know whether this solution answered all your questions but these are my thoughts and I am sharing with you. I'm not keen on the struts-config model because it is only a way of allowing you some flexibility in routing at design time, that in reality is not effective, bcause the business rules wind up in the actions.
