Sorry for the auto-reply... For the record, moving everything from META-INF to WEB-INF makes everything works as expected.
Actually i don't know if this is a bug or the expected behaviour and i didn't understand UserGuide/hivemind.xml correctly, anyway if it's the latter i would make it more clear in the guide.
