Hi I would like to know, how will it be with inherited-binding in Tapestry 4 R1 (and next releases). It looks like inherited-binding is funcional in T4 R1 (but, I don't know whether it is deprecated or not).
At this url http://jakarta.apache.org/tapestry/UsersGuide/upgrade.html we can read, that "inherited-binding may make a comeback in Tapestry 4.0!". I think, that inherited-binding is good to have, because it does not creates new Ibinding to local component property but copies the original parameter binding to containing (child) component. We don't lose the information stored in the original parameter binding - it goes to containing (child) component as is. At this time, I would appreciate to know, if the inherited-binding is going to change or to be removed (or not) in next releases. I need to make some decisions, which depends on that fact.
