Someone is working on a XDoclet plugin for tapestry , which will allow you to define your page stuff in the java file i belive .
The person was talking about releasing this plugin at the same time tapestry 4 gets a production release . I think this would be by far the cleanest aproach if you can wait a bit ( he might update us on his efforts , as i belive he watches theese mlists ) .
